Clean power, clean sound

Computers, lamp dimmers and other electrical villains scatter interference components into the domestic power grid. The mains voltage is also not always the same. As a result, transparency suffers and details and dynamics are lost. There seems to be a (gray) veil over the music.

The Pro-Ject Power Box RS Phono consistently separates the sensitive circuits of the Pro-Ject Phono Box RS from the mains, as it has a battery optimized for audio operation. It can be used in battery-only mode, but also during the charging process. During the charging process, the separation from the mains is removed - the batteries then act as a mains filter. Once the batteries are fully charged, the microprocessor-controlled automatic charging system disconnects the mains adapter and charging system from the batteries. Interference from the mains can no longer affect the sound, and fluctuations in the mains voltage have no effect on the power supply to the connected device. Ground loops are also prevented.
