Rega

Little needs to be said about Rega. There is hardly an analog enthusiast who is not familiar with this traditional English hi-fi brand. The RP turntable series is legendary, the tonearms are used as OEM systems by many turntable manufacturers. But the CD players, amplifiers and cartridges are also very popular and always score outstandingly well in test reports.
Rega has always followed the purist path of "lightweight construction" for its turntables. This may confuse many a lover of custom-made devices, but it regularly impresses in sound tests. There is no question about it: Rega's sound and play simply on point. And this at affordable prices.
