Highly effective isolators to eliminate the transmission of interference signals and vibrations into the hi-fi device. External signals that are transmitted into the device from "outside" have a negative impact on the audio signals to be reproduced. Vibrations affect practically every part of the audio chain.
This influence is most damaging where the smallest signals are processed and amplified. Record players in particular come to mind, but also CD players, etc.
The vibrations usually penetrate the device via the adjustable feet, blurring details and clarity. In the worst case, the frequency response is distorted. In most cases, reducing the structural resonance results in an immediate and audible improvement.
The sound image is expanded and the imaging is improved.

The isopuks from Avid Hifi are made from the well-known Sorbothane, which has been further developed by Avid, and are fitted into a machine-made housing. Felt pads make it easy to move the audio furniture and prevent damage to the floor.
They come in two different degrees of hardness and therefore offer the optimum width of load-bearing capacity. As many of the individually supplied pucks are used until the permissible total weight is covered by them. It is important to ensure that the weight is evenly distributed over the individual pucks.
In the case of asymmetrical distribution, as can occur with an amplifier with a large power supply unit, additional pucks should be used under this point in order to achieve good insulation.
