HiFi accessories - Vibration damping - Made in Germany
Every hi-fi component stands on a surface - and every surface vibrates. Loudspeaker vibrations, footfall noise, the rumble of the turntable motor, the mechanical vibrations of the reading and scanning systems: All of this is transmitted as structure-borne sound to chassis, circuit boards and bearings, where it becomes noticeable as noise, impurities in the mid-range or unrest in the bass in the sound image. This is precisely where the Perfect Sound dampers from creaktiv systems come in - with a sophisticated concept that goes far beyond a simple rubber base: the integrated stabilizer ring stabilizes the damper body laterally and prevents it from swinging sideways under load, so that the absorption effect remains precise, even if the set-up device is heavier or not exactly centred.
For years, creaktiv systems has stood for sophisticated hi-fi set-up solutions from Germany - from high-quality rack systems to sound tuning accessories. The Perfect Sound dampers are the smallest link in this philosophy, but one of the most effective: eight in a set, designed for up to 15 kg per damper, available in silver and gold. Compact in size, precise in effect - and a real eye-catcher in a high-quality hi-fi rack.

Why dampers improve the sound
Hi-fi devices are not purely electrical systems - they are mechanical objects that react to vibrations. A CD drive that vibrates minimally reads data less precisely. A phono preamp on the same rack as an active subwoofer picks up microphone effects. A record player that is affected by impact sound will skip or lose scanning precision. Even digital devices react measurably to mechanical excitation - clock generators and sensitive analog stages react to structure-borne sound with increased jitter or noise.
The classic rubber base dampens, but tends to flow sideways under load - the material loses its defined shape and thus part of its damping effect. The integrated stabilizer ring of the Perfect Sound dampers addresses this problem by design: it keeps the rubber body in its optimum working geometry, evenly loaded over the entire surface. The result is a defined, reproducible absorption effect that does not depend on the weight of the device or the precision of its positioning.
Areas of application & installation
The Perfect Sound dampers are suitable for almost all applications in the hi-fi environment. Under amplifiers, preamplifiers and phono stages, they decouple the sensitive electronics from the base - particularly valuable in setups where speakers and electronics share the same base. Under CD players and streamers, they minimize the mechanical excitation of the drives and clock generators. Under turntables - the classic area of application for damping accessories - they reduce the impact sound sensitivity and protect the stylus from external interference. And under compact loudspeakers, they prevent direct acoustic feedback to the surface - an often underestimated loss of sound, especially on hard floors or glass shelves.
The compact dimensions of 30 mm diameter and 10 mm height are a deliberate design choice: the dampers disappear almost invisibly under the device, change the stand height minimally and blend in visually with any installation situation. The fact that Perfect Sound nevertheless relies on an attractive surface finish in silver or gold underlines the brand's claim: accessories that also deserve their place in a high-quality system visually.
