The SUNDARA headphones from HIFIMAN have set new standards in the entry-level class in terms of resolution, stage and price. With the HE-400i model, HIFIMAN has already succeeded in achieving performance that is well above entry-level.

The SUNDARA Closed-back is a further development of the successful SUNDARA model. It features stealth magnet technology, which complements the NEO "supernano" diaphragms used in the top and reference models. Of particular note are the beech plywood shells, which provide excellent noise isolation for an undisturbed listening experience in busy environments.
Inside the SUNDARA Closed-back, ultra-thin diaphragms of the latest generation work in combination with the newly designed stealth magnets. The headphone's characteristic sound pressure level is 98 dB, which allows for impressive sound quality even at low output voltages. The SUNDARA Closed-back delivers particularly good results on high-quality headphone amplifiers or on headphone outputs of hi-fi amplifiers.

With a weight of 432 g, the SUNDARA Closed-back is a relatively lightweight headphone. It sits comfortably on the head and its slanted ear pads fit snugly around the ear. The flexible headband can be adjusted to fit the head size and the included cable is flexible and does not tend to tangle. Overall, the SUNDARA Closed-back offers excellent sound quality and a high level of wearing comfort.
