The Pro-Ject CD Box DS3 is a compact CD player in a class of its own, which can be seamlessly combined with the devices of the DS2 line. With a Blue Tiger CD-80 servo from Stream Unlimited and an intelligent 4-point suspension of the drive, it guarantees a perfect readout of the music.
The PCM1796 DAC chip from Texas Instruments has been carefully selected to produce sound as close as possible to what you would expect from an analog record. Front panel buttons allow for easy control, while the included remote control provides added convenience. The high-contrast dot-matrix display shows all relevant information.
The CD Box DS3 features a sturdy aluminum cabinet that can be optionally equipped with wooden side panels with magnetic mounting. This makes it not only an acoustic highlight, but also an asset to any audiophile hi-fi system.
