The Stereo Box E is a powerful, ultra-compact hi-fi stereo amplifier that impresses with its extensive features and outstanding sound quality - at a remarkably attractive price. With its analog preamplifier section and a particularly low-noise power amplifier, its sound quality is at a level rarely found in this price range.
With seven versatile inputs, including three analog and three digital, as well as Bluetooth streaming and a USB-C port for powering external devices, the Stereo Box E offers maximum flexibility for modern audio environments. A dedicated subwoofer output also allows the connection of a woofer to extend the bass range. The story behind the innovation
Since its foundation in 1991, Pro-Ject Audio Systems has established itself as a pioneer of analog music playback. The Pro-Ject 1, a manual, audiophile record player at an affordable price, opened a new chapter in the world of consumer electronics - a major impetus for the worldwide vinyl revival.
In the late 1990s, Pro-Ject presented another groundbreaking innovation with the "Box Design" concept: high-quality, compact hi-fi components. The philosophy was clear - the essence of audiophile sound in micro-compact housings, at a price that gave many music lovers access to true high-end.
The first stereo speaker, equipped with a Japanese Flying Mole module, brought warm, musical sound in an ultra-compact format - comparable to tube amplifiers. With the later introduction of the MaiA (My audio Integrated Amplifier), the concept was expanded to include additional digital interfaces, Bluetooth and a phono stage - also in a space-saving design.
The new Stereo Box E - modern, price-conscious and powerful sounding
With the current Stereo Box E, a new amplifier module has been developed that comes very close to the sound quality of the MaiA, but can be manufactured more cost-effectively. Optimizations to the phono stage and the integrated D/A converter enable a particularly attractive entry-level price of just 299 euros - without compromising on sound quality.

Compatible with the entire Box Design series
Thanks to its identical dimensions and design language, the Stereo Box E is fully compatible with the devices in Pro-Ject's E, S and DS lines. This means that individual hi-fi systems can be freely combined - with matching CD players, streamers, radios or turntables. The perfect basis for sophisticated music enjoyment in a compact format.
Real stereo sound instead of mono compromises
HiFi means stereo - without digital sound distortion by DSPs or artificial effects. The Stereo Box E delivers an unadulterated, authentic sound image that allows music to be experienced in its original form.
