For music lovers who do not place a HiFi rack at home for aesthetic or space reasons, Quadraspire now offers an alternative solution for sound enhancement. The QPlus equipment feet are placed directly between the feet of a hi-fi device and hard surfaces - the sideboard, the shelf or the glass plate - and fulfill the same purpose there as a hi-fi rack: they divert microphonics, which are caused by the device's own vibrations and airborne sound, in a defined way from the cabinet to the subsurface. In this way, they function in contrast to, for example, products from Harmonix, which place a sonic masking over the natural vibration of the device, and are also not related to various damping elements.

However, the QPlus are excellent not only as an alternative, but also as a supplement to the HiFi rack. Even the owners of a Quadraspire X-Reference benefit once again from the QPlus Reference.

All Quadraspire equipment stands are manufactured in England and assembled by hand. A circumstance that manufacturing manager Ian Sibley does not like at all. He would have liked to hand over production completely to machines. But for chief developer Alester Kells, this was out of the question. For the QPlus, he intensively studied the effects of different coatings inside the feet. The question of the correct torque for screwing stainless steel, aluminum, brass and bronze in combination with material thickness and anphasing of the wood for the best sound result also occupied him for a long time. An effort that has paid off! Today, PMC, a leading manufacturer of professional studio monitors, among others, uses the QPlus Reference among its own systems at trade shows. Company boss Eddie Kells is so convinced of the product that, in addition to a new CNC, he also purchased an engraving machine for his production. This is now used to engrave the company logo on the top of the device feet so that no one uses the QPlus upside down and the sonic result is not as desired.

The QPlus series includes three models. For beginners, the QPlus Evo are suitable, which, as the name suggests, are based on the sonic characteristics of the Q4 Evo rack system. The QPLUS Evo create a more airy sound image with cleanly contoured bass and better localization of instruments.

The QPlus Advanced model is significantly more elaborately manufactured and, compared to the QPlus Evo, provides a more powerful bass response, more expression in the vocal range and an increase in stage size. Sonically, it is oriented to the SVT racks.
