• Ultra-lightweight plinth:
  The Planar 6 utilizes a Tan-Cast 8 polyurethane foam plinth, a material originally developed for the aerospace industry. Embedded between two layers of high-pressure laminated (HPL) panels - which are exceptionally thin yet extremely rigid - this plinth guarantees outstanding vibration damping and minimizes unwanted resonances.
• New chassis:
  The chassis consists of an extremely lightweight foam core which, together with the scratch-resistant HPL, not only impresses visually, but also delivers structural stability and precision.

State-of-the-art drive technology & power supply

• High-performance 24 V low-noise synchronous motor:
  A newly developed 24V motor, specially matched to the innovative NEO PSU MK2, ensures ideal synchronization and precise speed control. Each motor is individually adapted by hand to its own NEO power supply unit to ensure optimum vibration damping.
• NEO PSU MK2 with RP10 DSP:
  The power supply is based on the RP10 DSP (Digital Signal Processing Generator), which is built on a highly stable crystal. This DSP generator produces an almost perfect sinusoidal waveform, which contributes significantly to audiophile sound purity.
• EBLT Reference drive belt:
  The newly developed drive belt optimizes synchronization and provides additional precision during playback.
