• Elicit MK5 - full amplifier - Rega

The Elicit MK 5 is Rega's latest integrated amplifier, designed to fit seamlessly into the existing product range. It builds on proven circuit technologies and utilizes Rega's award-winning Class A/B power amplifier circuitry to deliver an impressive 105 watts per channel into 8 ohm loads. The unit is powered by a comprehensive, low-noise linear power supply, with galvanic isolation between the digital and analog sections.
The Elicit MK 5 can drive even the most demanding speakers with ease and offers seamless integration into any audio system thanks to its wide range of connection options. Features include line, digital and high-quality MM (moving magnet) phono inputs, a pre-out, a direct-in, a record loop function and a powerful headphone output.
Key elements of the Elicit have been taken from the renowned Aethos amplifier, including the discrete FET-based preamplifier circuit and the Alps volume potentiometer. This contributes to a further improvement of the sonic and technical characteristics. Particular attention has been paid to the selection of key components, including discrete circuits, high quality relays, polypropylene capacitors and Sanken output transistors.

The Elicit's galvanically/optically isolated digital inputs use a Wolfson S/PDIF receiver IC to ensure optimum sound characteristics from any connected source. Conversion is via a Wolfson DAC and a discrete line driver circuit specially developed by Rega.
