The THIXAR Eliminator is dedicated to another dimension of vibrations that can significantly impair the enjoyment of music. Its main objective is to quiet the housing of the device itself.
In a hi-fi component, all functional parts are connected to the housing of the device, which serves as a support and frame. Therefore, every movement of a motor, every pulse of a coil, every oscillation pulse of a quartz crystal or transformer causes the housing to vibrate and transmit these vibrations to the other components. This prevents them from working optimally, which can lead to a significant deterioration in sound quality.
A complex approach is required as chokes, for example, generate different vibration frequencies than transformers. The simple addition of extra weight alone is therefore not sufficient. Instead, a combination of different materials according to AVC (Adaptive Vibration Control) technology is required to achieve the desired goal. With the Eliminator, the individual components are coordinated in such a way that they significantly reduce all potentially disruptive frequencies in a balanced way. The central element of this vibration damping system is the typical THIXAR gel, which has been specially adapted for targeted absorption of signals.

Of course, the aluminum housing of the eliminator is also an important part of this design. Equally important is the contact between the housing to be soothed and the Eliminator itself. Here, a special foil ensures optimum absorption of vibrations.
This exceptional THIXAR vibration damping system, which was specially developed for the enclosures of audiophile components, enables the components to work under undisturbed conditions. The sonic improvements are measurable and manifest themselves in concrete terms: background noise is reduced, fine details and spatial dimensions are perceived more clearly. The overall reproduction of music is quieter and more natural.

Both electronic devices and loudspeakers benefit from an eliminator. The positive effects can be felt differently depending on the component.
