At first glance, light and sound have little to do with each other. But anyone who has ever tried to place a needle with millimeter precision, decipher a label or check the stylus position in the semi-darkness knows the problem. The UberLight™ Frame from Reliable Corporation - a Canadian company with over 17 years of experience in the development of professional work lights - is the logical answer: a premium light developed by audiophiles for audiophiles, created in collaboration with the Momentum Product Design studio, which fundamentally raises the bar for turntable lighting.

The Frame is the logical successor to the legendary UberLight Flex - but it is not just an update, it is a fundamentally new development. Instead of a flexible gooseneck, a rigid, CNC-milled aluminum housing now supports the 18 Samsung LEDs. The result is not only a different caliber visually, but also functionally: six controllable light zones, three color temperatures, six brightness levels - over 100 individually combinable light settings - managed via touch panel or rechargeable remote control with integrated flashlight. Precise lighting exactly when, exactly where, in exactly the right quality.

18 Samsung LEDs generate up to 600 lumens - glare-free, eye-friendly light with a color rendering index (CRI) of over 90. A CRI value at this level means that colors are displayed as they appear in natural daylight - crucial for recognizing groove dust, fine scratches or the position of a needle under magnification. The three selectable color temperatures cover the entire spectrum of use: Warm white (2,700 K) for atmospheric evening light when listening, neutral white (4,000 K) for relaxed everyday use and daylight (5,000 K) for detailed inspection and adjustment. The service life of the LEDs is specified as up to 50,000 operating hours - a value that corresponds to more than 68 years of daily two-hour operation.

A key aspect that sets the UberLight Frame apart from standard LED luminaires is its sound-neutral design. Inexpensive LED lights and their switching power supplies often generate high-frequency electromagnetic interference, which is noticeable in sensitive phono stages and MM/MC cartridges as noise or fine crackling. Reliable has designed the UberLight Frame with premium LEDs and a carefully filtered USB-C power supply to eliminate this problem - verified by measurement in a soundproof environment. The result: just 19.1 dB self-noise at a distance of 10 cm.

The lamp head sits in a rigid aluminum frame mounted on a central pivot: 360° swivel around its own axis, combined with a 30° tilt adjustment in both directions, enables precise alignment to any point on the turntable surface - whether a large-format high-end turntable with removable cover or a compact entry-level player. Three mounting options are included in the box: a weighted stand, a table clamp and a screw mount for the shelf side. The clamp version is particularly easy to attach to the sound pressure or rack edge without touching the turntable itself.

The light is operated in two ways: The touch panel on the top of the lamp head allows individual LED segments to be switched on and off zone by zone and brightness and color temperature to be adjusted. The included remote control - which snaps magnetically into the underside of the lamp head and charges wirelessly - allows the same control from the comfort of your listening position. An integrated flashlight function on the remote control also allows pinpoint needle inspection without the need for time-consuming positioning of the entire lamp. The cable is a 183 cm long, cotton-sheathed USB-C cable - a choice of material that consistently matches the premium look and feel of the device.
