The Pro-Ject T1 is an entry-level turntable that sets sound standards. No plastic, no frippery. Pure music! The T1 from Pro-Ject Audio Systems is the first turntable in the T-Line to deliver true hi-fi sound quality for little money. It shines with high-quality materials, a stylish appearance and an incredibly lively sound. During the extensive development process, Pro-Ject's engineers took meticulous care to ensure that they did not compromise on sound quality despite the low price.
The CNC-milled chassis, available in high-gloss black, matt white & satin walnut, is manufactured entirely without cavities so that no unwanted vibrations can occur in the chassis. In keeping with this philosophy, the belt-driven platter is also made of safety glass. In contrast to plastic or lightweight steel platters, this effectively suppresses unwanted resonances.
The T1 tonearm is a new development based on proven Pro-Ject designs. The 8.6" long tonearm consists of a single piece of aluminum and is equipped with low-friction bearings, so that the tracking is always highly precise. The mounted Ortofon OM 5E cartridge with elliptical stylus makes this turntable a hi-fi playback device without compromise.
Furthermore, the T1 is not - as is often the case - only supplied with simple RCA/cinch cables. The scope of delivery includes excellently shielded, quasi-symmetrical, low-capacitance phono cables, which were specially designed by Pro-Ject for connecting turntables. The package also includes a dust cover for additional protection of the T1 and a felt mat that serves as a soft surface for your records.
The integrated Bluetooth® transmitter enables wireless music playback to amplifiers or speakers with a Bluetooth® receiver. The transmitter can be deactivated when not in use.
The player's counterweight and pickup are fitted ex works. No settings or adjustments need to be made. After removing the transport lock, attaching the belt and removing the stylus cover, the record player is ready to play immediately.
The T1 is the shooting star among affordable turntables. It is manufactured in Europe in a factory with decades of tradition in turntable construction. This is exactly what makes the T1 a genuine hi-fi turntable that impresses both in terms of sound and appearance.
