Every record carries an invisible enemy with it when it is played: dust and dirt particles that settle in the groove are read directly by the pickup - as crackling, hissing, muffled sound. Once played without cleaning always means a piece of lost information and accelerated needle wear. The Analogis vinyl cleaning arm with interchangeable head solves this problem in an elegant way: It works synchronously with the tonearm, cleans the groove immediately before the scanning process and reliably dissipates any electrostatics that arise - without any manual intervention during listening.

The principle is as simple as it is effective: the cleaning arm is positioned on its own height-adjustable base next to the turntable. Its carbon brush follows the groove passively and with minimal resistance - made possible by a single-point bearing that reduces friction in the joint to a minimum and makes the arm virtually massless. The entire system is fully electrically conductive - from the brush tip to the ground cable - and is therefore able to dissipate static charges in a controlled manner instead of accumulating them in the plate.

The heart of the cleaning arm is the carbon brush: its fine carbon fibers penetrate deep into the micro-groove and bring dust and dirt particles to the surface - gently, without exerting mechanical pressure on the sensitive vinyl. For more demanding applications or particularly dirty collector's items, the set includes a goat hair brush, which gently picks up coarser particles with its soft natural hair and is particularly gentle on the groove geometry. Both heads can be exchanged without tools.

The contact pressure of the brush can be individually adjusted via a small, movable counterweight on the arm - light plates can be treated just as correctly as heavier pressings. The single-point mounting of the arm ensures minimal dead weight and free movement: the arm follows the groove geometry passively without scratching the record or influencing the tonearm in its work. The cleaning arm can be positioned at any suitable point around the platter - for optimum performance, however, the brush should be able to reach the center zone of the platter.

Installation takes just a few minutes: the height-adjustable base with self-adhesive foot adheres reliably to almost any turntable frame - without drilling, without screws, without interfering with the device. The height adjustment makes it possible to align the arm parallel to the record surface and ensure correct brush contact. A practical side effect of the compact height: when correctly adjusted, the dust cover of the turntable can also be kept closed during operation - dust from the surroundings has no chance.

The earthing cable supplied connects the plinth to the earth terminal of the amplifier or phono preamplifier. This closes the grounding circuit completely: Static charge generated during playback flows away in a controlled manner instead of building up on the record surface and attracting additional dust. No further maintenance is required in daily operation - only the brush head should be replaced if visibly dirty or after intensive use.
