What began 20 years ago with the "tinkering passion" of Thomas Scheu has since developed into a company that has followers and customers worldwide.

Thomas Scheu, a skilled toolmaker and talented musician, built his first turntable in 1985. In addition to his passion for music, his solution-oriented mindset, extensive knowledge of materials, and design and engineering skills helped him develop his ideas and build the company. A particular highlight of his career to date, which is still part-time, was undoubtedly receiving the "Golden Ear Award" in 2001.
In December 2004, after the death of Thomas Scheu, his wife Ulla Scheu took over the management and responsibility for the company. She has successfully combined the Scheu analog tradition with the demands of modern economic times. In doing so, she has continuously held on to "his" ideas, but put an end to the "insider tip image" and invested in communication and expansion.
Ulla Scheu says: "It goes on, and there will be innovations; the origin, however, lives on in its spirit." This illustrates her very personal company and life philosophy.
Scheu Analog has become a force to be reckoned with in the audiophile hi-fi market, continually winning friends and customers around the world. The dedication to sound quality and the passion for analog music reproduction founded by Thomas Scheu continues under the leadership of Ulla Scheu.
