The AMC XIA150se is the ultimate amplifier for powerful speakers. It offers tremendous power and excellent sound quality at a remarkably affordable price.
Simple, inexpensive speakers are often easy to drive, but amplifiers reach their limits with high-end solutions, especially when it comes to speakers with low efficiency or difficult impedance characteristics. The AMC XIA150se masters such challenges effortlessly and delivers outstanding sound.
At the heart of the XIA150se is a large 600 VA toroidal transformer, supported by a robust power supply with 50,000 microfarads of filtering capacity. Separate power amplifier modules and high-quality components in the discrete preamplifier and power amplifier ensure an impressive continuous output of 150 watts into 8 ohms and 250 watts into 4 ohms. Thanks to HCO (High Current Output) technology, the amplifier can deliver up to 30 amps peak current even at 2 ohms impedance.

AMC's "Soft Clipping" technology gives the sound a hint of tube character, which ensures a warm and natural listening experience.
In terms of features, the AMC XIA150se leaves nothing to be desired. It has gold-plated speaker connections, a phono input for MM/MC, three line inputs, three digital inputs with 24-bit / 192 kHz HiRes converters, pre-out, main-in, audio-out and a headphone connection. Disconnectable tone controls and a balance control are integrated for demanding users. A remote control with motorized source selection switch rounds off the extensive range.
