The SQ 400 speaker stand range is a design available with a single steel or solid hardwood support column.
The SQ 400 design incorporates 4mm steel top and base plates combined with galvanized M8 fixing bolts for joint rigidity. The hand polished steel plates are joined as standard with a 50.8 x 50.8mm ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel tube for sound quality and as part of the custom design philosophy with attention to detail.

The solid hardwood support columns are made from solid ash, oak or walnut. They are sourced from sustainable, professionally managed forests. Available finishes include white, natural, oak, cherry, mahogany, walnut and black. The natural properties of wood can dampen resonant noise, prevent crossover through the design and affect stand and speaker performance without requiring mass loading of the support column.

Custom Design is proud to present the award winning SQ 400 range. The SQ 400 Speaker Support Stand Range is manufactured by the craftsman at Custom Design and is the base model of the SQ range.
By combining the ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel or solid hardwood support columns with 4mm steel top and bottom plates, Custom Design has created a discreet design. rigid speaker stand. Loading the steel support columns with inert filler increases the final mass by 3.5 kg. We recommend 1 bag of inert filler per column to improve the performance of your SQ 400 speaker stands.

Inert Acoustic top and base plates are an optional additional upgrade, as are the aesthetically pleasing 6mm clear glass base plinths, manufactured to BS EN 12150-2.
The modern, contemporary, multi-award winning SQ 400 product ranges have a real aesthetic appeal. When combined with Inert Acoustic Top and Base Plates, the reduction in resonant noise is significant, resulting in improved performance and sound quality. SQ 400 speaker stands complete with inert acoustic top and base plates are available as an option. Acoustic panels cost £39.99 per pair when purchased separately.
