Vinyl accessories - Storage
A record collection is more than just a possession - it is a biography. Each LP represents a moment, a mood, a decision. What such treasures deserve is not a box under the bed, but storage that does justice to their significance. The Knosti Archifix-Box Woodline is exactly that: a well thought-out system that combines organization, protection and aesthetics in a form that is worth seeing - as a deliberate part of the living space, not hidden behind it. Knosti knows this requirement better than anyone else: The Archifix box was the Burgheim-based manufacturer's very first product in 1976, and over a million of them have been in use since then.
The Woodline is the logical further development of this idea in the direction of suitability for living spaces and sustainability. The housing consists of a high-quality poplar wood composite made from PEFC-certified wood from controlled managed forests - a material that is not only ecologically sound, but also dimensionally stable, robust and durable. Natural grain and slight differences in color between the individual boxes are no coincidence: they make each Woodline unique and thus an honest commitment to quality craftsmanship as opposed to anonymous industrial plastic.

Modular system
Can be freely combined - upright, stacked or wall-mounted
What distinguishes the Archifix Woodline box from an ordinary box is its system intelligence. Individually, it is stable and looks good. Several boxes next to or on top of each other create a closed shelf that gives the impression of a fully assembled unit. Knosti recommends using at least three boxes next to each other as a base for stacked structures so that the system stands securely; up to eight boxes can be stacked on top of each other in this way.
If you have less space on the floor or prefer to display your collection at eye level, you can use the eyelets on the back for wall mounting - simple, functional, without special tools. The removable central bar makes installation much easier: it can be removed for wall installation to create more freedom of movement when inserting the panels. For freestanding use, it keeps the records neatly upright and prevents them from leaning to one side.
Records are sensitive sound carriers - and incorrect storage can cause permanent damage. The most common mistake: stacking records flat on top of each other or leaving them leaning at an angle. Both encourage warps, i.e. wave-shaped deformations that force the record player to make uncontrolled needle deflections and, in the worst case, permanently deform valuable pressings. The Archifix Woodline box keeps the LPs upright - the only form of storage in which the record does not have to counteract its own weight.
The issue of ringwear - the unsightly marking of the record on the cover due to it being too tight - is also not an issue if the box is filled correctly. Knosti recommends not packing the box full to the brim: The records should still be easy to remove and push back. Anyone who also works with external protective covers should take this into account when planning capacity. And if you always want to have your Knosti cleaning device to hand when collecting: the Woodline is dimensioned so that Disco-Antistat and Disco-Antistat Generation II PLUS, including accessories, fit perfectly inside.
