What ultimately radiates from your speakers begins right where the hi-fi component sits. Every rack, floor and cabinet vibrates — and this structure-borne noise creeps through the chassis of turntables, amplifiers and CD players, where it manifests as missing spatial depth, soft bass and dull treble. The SSC Netpoint MKII equipment feet, made in Germany, decouple your component decisively from these disturbances — revealing what the signal actually contains.
Inside the anodised aluminium housing, the patented SSC weave technology (String Suspension Concept) does its work — a principle that absorbs the load weight centrally, channels it through a tensioned carrier weave and converts it into traction energy via an outer ring on the underside of the foot. With the MKII generation introduced in June 2021, SSC has consistently sharpened this concept: a new acoustically optimised housing now contains a tighter double weave on a harder carrier material — the result is more dynamics, faster transient response and a markedly increased effectiveness compared to the already highly praised MK I predecessors.

Sound & Operating Principle
Unlike pure rubber or foam feet, which only absorb vibrations within a narrow frequency band, the SSC construction works mechanically and directionally: the load weight of the component generates pressure on the tensioned weave inside the aluminium housing — this energy is channelled centrally and converted into traction energy at the outer support ring on the underside. Vibrations are therefore not merely absorbed, but actively guided out of the signal path. The Netpoint series additionally uses a harder carrier material than earlier SSC pucks. The sound does not become softer, but tighter and more incisive — more speed, more microdynamics, more bass contour.
The decoupling effect is particularly impressive on turntables: the cartridge navigates the groove with microscopic precision — every external vibration that reaches the chassis costs information directly. But tube amplifiers, CD players, DACs and streamers also benefit noticeably: the soundstage opens up spatially, depth layering becomes more three-dimensional, and instruments separate themselves more precisely from the stage. After an extensive test of the MKII series, the magazine HiFi-Today reached a clear verdict: clear buying recommendation! One hundred points!
Even the MK I predecessors were highly regarded in the trade press. Stereoplay noted: "a wobbly turntable with SSC sounded as taut as a CD player". Homevision put it even more concisely: "clearly audible sonic improvement. An absolute hit at this price". The MKII versions raise the bar once again on these foundations — according to the manufacturer, with markedly increased effectiveness and finer resolution across the entire frequency range.
Three Models, One Philosophy
The three Netpoint models are technically identical on the inside and differ only in their top surface — that is, in how they couple to the component. This covers virtually every practical installation scenario:
Netpoint 100 MKII (14 mm total height) features a felt pad on the aluminium cap and is simply slid between the original feet of the component and the supporting surface — installation in seconds, no tools required, no intervention on the device. The most uncomplicated solution for amplifiers, CD players or streamers.
Netpoint 200 MKII (13 mm) features a threaded screw on the top surface and can be bolted directly to the audio component or speaker stand. Adapter studs for the common thread sizes M4, M6 and M8 are included with every set — this allows the Netpoint 200 to replace existing spikes or standard equipment feet uncompromisingly and with rigid coupling.
Netpoint 300 MKII (12 mm) features a spike cup on its top surface, securely accommodating the metal spikes supplied with many speakers and racks. This is the solution for loudspeakers and heavier component bases that maintains the coupling effect of the spikes — while the cup simultaneously protects sensitive surfaces from damage.
All three variants are available in Black or Silver anodised aluminium, with a uniform 50 mm outer diameter and a total load capacity of 60 kg per 4-piece set. Standard delivery is the 4-piece set; individual pieces (for example for the classic three-point setup under turntables) are available on request. The materials come entirely from German production, inspected one final time before release — SSC grants a two-year manufacturer's warranty on every puck.
