The Black Cube SE II is a versatile phono amplifier that is seamlessly compatible with a wide range of high-output MM to MC systems on the market. Each channel has a slot that allows for solderless impedance matching, as well as an additional hard-wire slot for direct intervention. To give you the best possible match to your personal system, we include the required resistors free of charge if you want them.

The high-precision, passive RIAA filter network is located between two linear amplification stages and is implemented with high-quality, impulse-resistant polypropylene film capacitors that have a tight tolerance. As a result, impulses, dynamics and timbres are passed on to the listener unaltered. As with the entire Black Cube family, professional input stages of the latest generation are used in the Black Cube SE II, enabling precise, low-noise and powerful reproduction. Furthermore, the audio section features additional assemblies that ensure effective suppression of hum, high-frequency interference and noise voltages. The use of a double-sided audio board achieves optimum conductor routing to ensure particularly interference-free operation.
The powerful, generously sized external power supply plays a crucial role in ensuring reliable operation. With a custom toroidal transformer and static shield, it guarantees reliable performance. The connection between the audio section and the PWX power supply is made by high-quality Neutrik XLR connectors with gold-plated contacts, and the cable between the audio and power supplies is shielded to minimize potential interference. In addition, both enclosures are made of non-magnetic material (aluminum) and mechanically damped in the lid to create optimal sound conditions.
