Sound carrier procurement is complex. In order to offer maximum transparency, we display delivery times as precisely as possible - supported by a multi-level display system on the item. the battery power supply for the Vanguard II by Trigon - Made in Germany

With the battery power supply Volcano III you can upgrade your Vanguard II phono amplifier to a pure battery powered high end phono amp in a few minutes. The Vanguard I is required with a specially required additional cable as well as an additional floor power supply.
The Vanguard clearly benefits from the battery operation, in that it thanks you with a higher resolution, more space and higher dynamics. You simply get a more authentic music reproduction. The Volcano III is simply inserted between the Vanguard II and the floor power supply.
The housing is manufactured in the same elaborate process as that of the Vanguard II phono amplifier. It is made of high quality anodized aluminum for the front panel and is available in either nextel coated or textured painted steel.
The charging of the lead-gel battery is controlled by a microprocessor, which guarantees highest operational reliability and longevity. All operating states are controlled by a single front-mounted pushbutton via high-quality relays and signaled via the two-color LED display.
You can choose between pure mains operation or a mixed mains/battery variant. In the combined mode, the integrated power supply is connected in parallel to the batteries and is therefore operated with both battery and mains power.
Battery operation effectively eliminates interference introduced by the mains supply. The "stage" benefits immensely from this operation and disturbing small currents are no longer amplified in an unpleasantly audible way.

The upgrade of a phono amplifier with a separate battery power supply as with the Vanguard / Volcano variant is currently unique on the market. The handmade production in Germany makes this combination of devices an exceptional system. For this price unbeatable !

The processor controlled AKKU power supply for the Trigon phono preamplifiers Vanguard I, Vanguard II and VANGUARD III offers a remarkable expansion possibility for audiophile enthusiasts.
The Volcano III can be easily retrofitted without the need for further technical modifications. It is inserted between the Vanguard II phono preamplifier and its bottom power supply, connecting on the one hand to the original Vanguard II bottom power supply and on the other hand to the Vanguard II using the special cable supplied.

When using the Volcano III in conjunction with a Vanguard I, a special adapter cable between the Volcano III and the Vanguard I is required. In addition, an external ground power supply is required, as the supplied plug-in power supply for the Vanguard I is not compatible with the Volcano III.
The Volcano III's housing, styled in Vanguard's distinctive design and made of anodized aluminum and either textured or nextel-coated steel, houses long-life lead-acid batteries. Operational reliability and ease of use are ensured by microprocessor-controlled charge regulation and control. The various operating states are switched by a front panel button controlled by a relay and signaled by a two-color LED indicator. In this way, the Volcano III can supply power to the connected phono preamplifier either in pure mains operation or in combined battery mains operation.

In combined battery mains operation, the integrated power supply is connected in parallel to the batteries, which means that the connected amplifier is connected to both the batteries and the mains. To effectively avoid possible interference from the mains supply, the Volcano III can and should be switched to combined battery mains mode while listening to music. In this mode of operation, the mains loads are reduced by the built-in rechargeable batteries.

With this optimal power supply, Vanguard I and II can unleash their full potential in authentic music playback without being affected by mains interference. This expansion capability allows audiophile enthusiasts to enjoy an uninterrupted and immersive listening experience where music can be experienced in its purest form.
