Dirk Rüdell recognized the commercial potential of such additional audiophile products due to the significant positive effects on sound quality that were demonstrated when using these self-developed bases in numerous tests of various system setups. This led to the founding of the company THIXAR in 2009.

 

Since then, the original platforms have been continuously developed and optimized. Today, they are available in the "Silence", "Silence Plus" and "Silence Focus" variants. These main products in the THIXAR portfolio are supplemented by additional in-house developments such as rack systems, device feet, enclosure dampers and the active platform "Silencer_iZ". The specific combination of selected materials and technologies is crucial for the positive impact on the sound quality of all audio components, which is supported by THIXAR's advanced damping solutions.

 

THIXAR products are manufactured in Germany. In cooperation with proven local, highly specialized suppliers for individual components, they are manufactured under the strictest quality standards in Düsseldorf. Through a network of dedicated distributors, THIXAR products are available to discerning stereo enthusiasts worldwide.

 

THIXAR components enjoy an excellent reputation in the high-end community. For example, our racks and platforms are regularly used by renowned companies at audio trade shows. THIXAR feet and dampers are installed by high-end manufacturers to ensure the optimal performance of their equipment. Recently, THIXAR has developed special platforms for the Swiss brand darTZeel so that their first-class components can develop their full potential on a perfect foundation.
