Sound carrier procurement is complex. In order to offer maximum transparency, we display delivery times as precisely as possible - supported by a multi-level display system on the item. Our focus is on audiophile sound carriers in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is displayed in the store on a daily basis.

If items are not in stock, it is not possible to check stock directly during the ordering process. We will check availability immediately after your order and inform you without delay.

With the MDPH15, Melodika offers a high-quality phono cable with single-core construction and solid 24-carat gold-plated and color-coded full-metal chinch plugs. In contrast to the LF cable, the phono cable is in a fabric sheath including earthing cable.

This cable, whose construction is based on a solid 0.25 mm² copper conductor, has been specially developed for use in the hi-fi/stereo/home cinema sector.
The special "single core" construction of the cable is considered by many specialists to be the perfect form for hi-fi applications.
Low capacitance ensures very detailed reproduction of the high frequency ranges. As a result, you get a reproduction of the high frequencies in a natural form and without unpleasant sharpness,

Shielding
The shielding of the Melodika MD2R NF cables consists of a double copper braid with a shielding effectiveness of 99%. Thanks to the precise and accurate shielding, the music signal is very well protected against external interference from electrosmog or magnetic fields.
This is extremely important for an AF cable, as the music signal has a very low amplitude (size) and is therefore susceptible to interference. The shielding of Melodika LF cables guarantees a pure and unadulterated music signal.

PTFE insulation
Melodika uses PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) as insulation, a special plastic that can withstand temperatures of up to 320 degrees Celsius and is resistant to chemicals. It does not even react in concentrated acid.
The plugs have been developed to ensure excellent insulation combined with a high load capacity. The Melodika MDRCA is designed for more than 2000 cycles/mating operations.

When soldering the cable - we recommend and use silver solder - there is no overheating of the insulation. Thus, the structure of the connector is not even minimally affected, thanks to which the signal is not disturbed in any way.
In addition, the PTFE insulation does not store any electrostatic charges, making it an excellent insulator and a great prerequisite for excellent sound.
