Brief description of the pole terminal

The pole terminal WBT-0763 is available in the proven Midline quality. Sound interference is minimal due to constantly low contact resistance. This feature is guaranteed by a two-piece clamping nut and the resulting high contact pressure. In addition, the pole terminal impresses with its noble design with the nickel-free gold plating, which prevents any corrosion. The focus of the developers was on easy handling and perfect grip for this pole terminal.

A banana plug (4 mm) can be connected in the front part of the two-part clamping nut (patented by WBT). The system is also used to make a contact of cable lugs or crimped cable ends. The tensile strength of the connection is created by the patch milling of the pressure piece bottom. In addition, shearing of the cable strands is avoided with bare cable ends.

In the area of the internal connection, the pole terminal offers the option of using cables with a maximum conductor cross-section of 10 mm². The manufacturer recommends the crimp connection technique for this. A T.6 Torx screw is still required for this. Alternatively, the connections can also be soldered. The silver solder WBT-0800 is recommended to protect the surface.

The scope of delivery includes installation insulators, which ensure both a twist-proof and insulated installation as well as the pole identification. Furthermore, the product contains lock nuts, puzzle washers and double step washers with nose. The puzzle washers are interconnected, resulting in exact terminal spacing of 19 mm or 30 mm.

Due to applicable safety regulations, the banana holes 4 mm must be closed with Safety Stick WBT-0799.
