To this day, many records are delivered in unlined paper inner sleeves - a material that comes into direct contact with the surface when the record is inserted and removed, leaving microscopic scratches. What initially remains invisible accumulates over the years: the playback quality suffers and the value of the record decreases. The solution is very simple - and cheaper than replacing a damaged pressing.
These LP inner sleeves made of PE-lined paper are manufactured in Germany, available in two grammages - 80 g/m² for classic everyday use, 110 g/m² in deluxe quality for the highest demands - and in black. The high-quality PE inner coating allows the record to glide smoothly and without resistance. A sophisticated lip on the open side and trimmed edges on all sides make insertion and removal as convenient as it rarely gets. Available in 50- or 100-piece value packs.

Why the inner sleeve is crucial
The inner sleeve is the most frequently touched element of the entire record - and at the same time the one that is most often neglected during initial delivery. Anyone who listens to a record regularly takes it out of the cover and inner sleeve dozens of times. Every movement that rubs paper directly against vinyl leaves micro-traces. The original silky gloss surface of a fresh pressing gradually loses quality - audible as increasing background noise, visible under light as fine grinding marks.
The PE inner coating of these sleeves creates a smooth, largely statically neutral separating layer between the paper and vinyl. The record moves on the PE surface, not on the paper - the difference can be felt as soon as you touch it: the record slides out instead of being pulled. The PE layer also significantly reduces static charge, which can be caused by friction between paper and vinyl and can actually attract dust.
The details that make the difference
The lip on the open side is a small design idea with a big effect: the front sheet of the sleeve is cut shorter than the back. This means that the record immediately finds the opening without having to search for it or guide it - the sleeve virtually opens by itself when it is inserted. Once you've worked with it, you won't want to do without this detail again.
The trimmed edges on all sides solve another classic problem: inner sleeves with corners and edges that catch on notches or notches in the cover cardboard and cannot be inserted cleanly. Trimmed edges glide past these obstacles instead of clinging to them. The result is a cover that can be opened and closed easily - without force and without risk of damage to the cover or cardboard.
The paper retains its shape - no rippling, no warping, even after prolonged use. In 80 g/m² for broad everyday use and in 110 g/m² Deluxe for all those who want the maximum for their most valuable pressings. Both grammages are black and Made in Germany.
