The Solidsteel S2 series audio racks offer audiophile performance at great prices: Rock-solid stability and superior isolation provide enhanced performance from any system.

The S2 series is our entry-level product range designed to meet the essential requirements of those who have the need toplace components on a vertical base structure made of Italian quality materials at a considerable price advantage to . These modular products are designed for the most common component dimensions and are only available in two configurations: with 3, 4 or 5 shelves. The Solidsteel S2 Series audio racks offer incredible isolation, enhanced audio performance and rock-solid stability in a sleek design. Form follows function with S2, as the clean look of the line blends into any aesthetic. With technological advancements that ensure an even better sounding and resonance-free structure, the Italian-made S2 series takes equipment racks - and your components and music - to a new level of audiophile fulfillment.

Solid shelves and aluminum rods for a smarter design The S2 Series racks use MDF shelves and new, non-welded aluminum rods. Aluminum is lighter than steel, incredibly strong, non-magnetic and an excellent damping material. By eliminating welding from the equation, S2 racks eliminate resonances that develop in hollow welded posts. Unwanted energy and vibrations cannot penetrate your rack. The aluminum bars also result in improved weight handling, far greater stability and, because the racks can't resonate the bars, improved isolation for each component. In addition, the solid shelf design of the S2 series keeps resonance to a minimum. The S2 Series is a tremendous value Priced like the 3 Series it replaced, the S2 Series actually performs like the older Elite 6 Series, making it an extreme value. In addition, due to the solid bars and rigid coupling of the shelves to the uprights, no cones are needed to compensate for resonances within the shelf frame.

The benefits of the S2 series even extend to shipping and initial playback. The lighter, modular uprights can be put into smaller, tighter boxes that are easier to pack and ship, ensuring your carrier arrives safely. Your music will sound better with the S2 Series With the S2 Series, Solidsteel has found an ingenious design. Your components and especially your music will sound better. Say goodbye to vibrations and distortion and "ciao" to unrestricted stability and precise imaging with the S2 Series. Remember: a good equipment rack is just as important as good cables, powerful amplifiers and free-flowing turntables. Because no matter how much you spend on your equipment, you're wasting your money if it's not resting on a support mechanism that provides excellent isolation, rock-solid stability and vibration-free performance. All shelves are made of MDF wood (22 mm or 0.86 inches thick).

The bars are anodized aluminum and the hardware is AVP iron (galvanized to prevent rust). Our traditional and adjustable stainless steel spikes are included to fine tune the frame on the ground. The steel discs (PADS) for the spikes are not included, but are available as separate accessories. The S2 products are only available in the black version.
