Klangheimat Studio - Demonstration
Listening studio · Bavarian Alpine foothills
The Klangheimat Studio
Listening to music as if at home – with time, calm and honest advice.
After many years in online retail, we opened our own listening studio in August 2022: a room with a living-room atmosphere where we demonstrate selected brands by appointment – personally and without time pressure.
Important notice
The listening studio is currently closed.
Unfortunately, demonstration appointments are not possible at the moment. Our online shop is open as usual – and if you have questions about equipment, accessories or your system, we will be happy to advise you via the contact form or by email at kontakt@klangheimat.de.

The concept: time for you and your music
The Klangheimat Studio is designed as an appointment-only studio. It is deliberately located away from passing trade – our focus remains on online sales. But if you would like to hear equipment before buying, we will demonstrate selected brands we specialise in, by appointment.
This has two advantages: we can focus entirely on you. And we know what we are talking about. With dozens of brands and just as many models, it is hard to gain a well-founded overview – with a manageable selection that we listen to ourselves every day, it is not.
“Fewer brands.
More knowledge.”

The brands
In the studio, we focus on manufacturers we value from our own experience – from turntables and amplifiers to matching furniture:
| Pier Audio | Handcrafted hybrid technology from France |
| VPI | For us, among the very best turntables – from the USA |
| Solidsteel | Handcrafted hi-fi furniture from Italy |
| Pro-Ject | The analogue specialist from Austria – needs little introduction |
| Gold Note | Italian hi-fi moments – everything from a single source |
| Indiana Line | Speakers with outstanding value for money from Italy |
| Xavian | Exclusive solid-wood speakers from Prague with Italian roots |

The room
In a cosy 30 m² room with a genuine living-room atmosphere, we set up whatever you would like to hear – provided we have it or can obtain it. That way, a system sounds under conditions much closer to your home than any showroom.
Thanks to good contacts with the respective distributors, we can also request high-end or rare equipment for a demonstration on request.

The location
The studio is located in Baiernrain in the beautiful Alpine foothills – with a wonderful view of the Alps and easy to reach for anyone living between Munich and Salzburg. The A8 motorway with the Holzkirchen exit is only a few minutes away.
The area also invites you to make a trip of it afterwards: Bad Tölz and Lake Tegernsee are quickly reached from here.
