ACT Music
The well-known jazz label ACT was founded in 1992 by Siggi Loch. He looked back on a career of almost thirty years in the international music business, which he began as a representative at EMI Electrola and which was to take him to the top of WEA International Warner. At some point, however, the manager began to doubt the usefulness of his employment and set out to enrich the music world with fine and ambitious jazz recordings.
Since then, ATC has developed into one of the most important jazz labels in the world. The Echo awards for best German jazz label followed in 2010 and 2011. It all began with guitarist Nguyen Le, whom Loch was able to recruit as a solo artist for his label. The guitarist is a member of Nils Landgren Funk Unit and released his first solo album on ATC.
From then on, the label, which is entirely dedicated to European jazz, went from strength to strength. Nils Landgren's new album "The Moon, the stars and you" was recently released on vinyl.
