Records shipping

 Klangheimat Vinyl Protect · KVP

So your vinyl arrives just as it was pressed.

Anyone who has bought records online knows the feeling: the anticipation is huge – until the parcel reveals crushed corners or a dented sleeve. Delivery drivers are under enormous time pressure, and black gold is simply particularly delicate.

No one can rule it out completely. But we do everything in our power to keep shipping damage to a minimum – with our Klangheimat Vinyl Protect.

 How we protect your records
Five layers of care for every shipment

Every order containing records goes through the same process with us – step by step, layer by layer.

1
Special LP mailer boxes
For shipping records we use only particularly high-quality LP mailer boxes.
— A special insert keeps the record away from the outer edge of the box.
— The cardboard is considerably thicker than usual and protects better against knocks.

2
A new PE outer sleeve for every record
Every record receives its own high-quality PE outer sleeve from us – extra protection for the cover.
3
The cardboard sandwich
Two additional cardboard inserts enclose the record sleeves like a sandwich, reinforcing sleeves and corners against pressure and impact.
4
!
FRAGILE
Marked as “Fragile”
Finally, we mark the entire shipment as fragile – so it is handled with the care it needs.
5
⇄
Hassle-free exchange
And should your parcel still have experienced an unexpected 6 G on its way, we’ll exchange it without any fuss.

Better protection – at no extra cost to you

The high-quality LP boxes cost us around €1 more per parcel. We cover this cost – because your records are worth it.

 Our promise

“No record – audiophile or not – deserves to spend its life in a battered sleeve.”

There is no such thing as 100% protection against damage to sleeve or vinyl. But with Klangheimat Vinyl Protect we reduce the risk considerably. We’re happy to invest in this – and our customers thank us for it.
