Straight Ahead Records
Mastering legend Bernie Grundman has founded his own label Straight Ahead with Stewart Levine. While Levine specializes in music production, Grundman has been doing what he has been doing for over fifty years: listening!
The pioneer of the high-fidelity sound attaches great importance to realism and naturalness in his work. The recordings should sound so good that the listener feels as if they could literally touch the instruments being played.
The music is recorded and mixed live to create a spontaneous interaction with the musician and the recording process. The music is pressed exclusively on 180 or 200 gram vinyl. What leaves Grundman Studios is audiophile craftsmanship at the absolute top level. No more, but never less.
