About us - the Klangheimat
We give unforgettable moments – little escapes from everyday life, embedded in the preciousness of the moment.
In a world that is becoming ever faster, louder and more demanding, we create space for genuine feelings. Amid the constant flood of offers, many people lose the ability to focus – consuming without pausing, hearing without truly listening.
This is exactly where the magic of audiophile music comes in. It is a key to slowing down – a way back to ourselves. Listening to records in particular, with its deliberate, almost ceremonial ritual, invites us to feel the here and now – clearly, intensely and completely present.
Audiophile recordings, hi-fi systems & accessories
Founded in 2010, we started out as an online vinyl shop – at a time when the vinyl revival was slowly gaining momentum. Over the years we have steadily expanded our range: first with vinyl accessories and equipment, then into a full hi-fi range.
Today, with our range of audiophile recordings & hi-fi systems, we are one of the major suppliers on the market. Yet our heart beats for the exclusive and the exceptional: audiophile enjoyment in its purest form. Should what you are looking for ever be missing from our range – just get in touch. We will do everything we can to make it a reality for you.

Five steps to the moment
A record cannot be played in the background. That is precisely its magic – and the reason we do what we do.
Sleeve in hand, artwork before your eyes: music begins with a conscious decision.
A few strokes with the carbon-fibre brush – dust out, calm in.
The record glides onto the platter, the motor starts: 33⅓ revolutions per minute.
The cueing lever lowers the stylus into the lead-in groove. A gentle crackle – then the music begins.
Around 20 minutes per side. No skipping, no scrolling – just you and the music.
A family business from Upper Bavaria
To this day, Klangheimat is a family business. Our team of five looks after our online shop and the needs of our customers.
The theme of our work harmonises wonderfully with the view of the Upper Bavarian Alpine foothills. This is where we found our Klang-Heimat – our home of sound – and every day we try to let this harmony flow into the way we handle your orders.
Whether it's a question, a special request or simply a chat about music – we'd love to hear from you.
Started as an online vinyl shop – right in the middle of the budding vinyl revival. What began as a passion became a calling.
Steady expansion into vinyl accessories and phono equipment, and step by step into a full hi-fi range.
Reference-quality CDs, tapes and records take centre stage – today one of the largest audiophile ranges on the market.
A small team, a large range and the same passion as on day one. We're glad you're here.
We love the landscape around us. Our products are made to last – no throwaway items.
Hi-fi systems and recordings can be used for generations and even passed down.
We use as little paper as possible and reuse cardboard boxes several times.
Honesty matters to us
No, we are not perfect – and every case in which a customer is not entirely happy with us bothers us. But we are convinced that, as a small team, we give our very best every day.
We are proud of the many international reviews from satisfied customers – checked and verified by Shopvote.
