Merry Christmas - and a good sound for the New Year
Thoughts on the end of 2025
- 2025 was politically and economically challenging - making conscious breaks all the more important.
- Records and CDs offer the gift of slowing down: Music becomes an experience again.
- Thank you for your loyalty, your orders and your trust.
- We look forward to 2026 - with many new products and special releases.
- Our industry was under pressure: many competitors did not survive 2025.
Dear customers, dear music lovers,
When we look back on the year 2025, we do so with mixed feelings. Political uncertainties, economic pressure, rising costs and a palpable nervousness in many areas of our everyday lives characterized this year. Many things felt fragile, some even unsettling. This made the moments when we were able to pause for a moment all the more precious - moments when the world became quieter for a few minutes.
It is precisely at times like these that music shows its special power. It is not a luxury in the superficial sense, but a place of retreat. A record that slowly slips out of its sleeve. A CD, consciously inserted. The moment when the needle touches down or the first note fills the room. Music allows us to take time out - not as an escape, but as a conscious break. 🎶
Music as an antidote to restlessness
Today more than ever, records and CDs stand for deceleration. They demand attention, time and dedication - exactly what is often lacking in hectic everyday life. Those who consciously listen to music opt for depth instead of speed. For quality instead of randomness. For sound that is not incidental, but experienced.
In a world of permanent availability, physical sound carriers are a statement: against forgetting, against fleetingness, against simply moving on. They provide structure, ritual and reliability. And they remind us that good sound is more than just technology - it is emotion, memory and identity at the same time.
Gratitude in turbulent times
The fact that we were able to continue on this path together in 2025 fills us with great gratitude. Because this year has not been an easy one for our industry either. Many of our competitors were unable to withstand the economic and structural challenges. We therefore appreciate all the more that you have remained loyal to us - with your orders, your trust and your passion for music. 🤍
Your encouragement shows us that quality, expertise and genuine enthusiasm for sound endure even in difficult times. We would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Looking forward to 2026 - with new ideas and new sounds
