Single Vinyl Record Sleeves - Set - Dynavox

The inner sleeve is the last and most direct protection for the vinyl - and yet it is often treated as a minor matter. Yet every day it decides whether scratches occur when the record is pulled out, whether dust is electrostatically drawn into the grooves, and whether the record still sounds the same after years as it did on the first day. Dynavox record inner sleeves use the most proven construction in the audiophile world: the multi-layer HDPE rice paper construction that Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab has made the industry standard for archiving valuable vinyl collections.

Dynavox sleeves combine anti-static HD polyethylene (HDPE) with a cushioning rice paper middle layer - a construction that is considered the gold standard in this category. Compared to simple paper sleeves, which easily scratch the record surface with every contact and work dirt into the grooves over time, these sleeves provide lasting and gentle protection. The set of 50 in sturdy colored cardboard makes them a practical solution for beginners and experienced collectors alike.

When you pull an LP out of a plain paper sleeve, you pull it over a rough surface - every time. The microscopically small fibers of the paper leave abrasion marks that are visible under a microscope and, in the worst case, become audible as higher-band noise. Even more problematic: paper does not store static charge, it actually amplifies it - the friction when it is pulled out generates electrostatics that actively draw dust particles into the groove. The result is a sheet that is dirtier after each removal than before.

HD polyethylene (HDPE) counteracts this: its smooth surface glides over the vinyl without resistance, and the antistatic finish prevents the build-up of electrostatic charge during removal. The rice paper in the middle does not touch the vinyl directly - it gives the sleeve structure and rigidity so that it can be opened and filled easily without clinging to or tilting the record. Libraries and record archives worldwide rely on this structure because it has been proven to extend the life expectancy of vinyl carriers for decades.

Dynavox inner sleeves are suitable for all 12" records - LPs and maxi-singles alike. Thanks to their compact dimensions, they fit into almost all commercially available covers and also into discobags. The square cut makes handling considerably easier than with round-cut sleeves: the LP can be inserted and removed without jamming - even with standard covers with a narrow slot.

We particularly recommend using it after every LP wash: a cleaned record that is put back into the old paper sleeve immediately attracts dust and dirt residues again. The new Dynavox sleeve preserves the results of the wash permanently. The same applies to new purchases, whose original paper sleeves are often of the simplest quality, as well as to second-hand purchases, whose sleeves are already degraded and potentially scratchy after decades.

Customers describe the Dynavox sleeves as directly comparable to the renowned MoFi Original Master Sleeves - at a significantly lower price per unit. Records slide in and out easily and do not absorb any static.
