Newly designed housing - acoustically optimized, aesthetically refined
The completely redesigned housing of the ZGZ-802 combines technical perfection with an elegant, modern appearance.

• Extended baffle with precise undercuts: This new geometry improves linearity in the mid and high frequencies and ensures a more balanced dispersion pattern.
• 25 mm front panel: The significantly reinforced front panel increases structural rigidity and minimizes cabinet resonances. The result: a controlled, clean sound even at high levels.
• New spike base system: The visually and functionally enhanced base gives the speaker a commanding presence and improves stability.

Heavy-duty base with custom-made spikes
For the first time, the ZGZ-802 is equipped with a solid steel base including specially developed precision spikes.
This design was derived directly from feedback from ZGZ-801 users - and has now been implemented as standard:

• Significantly improved mechanical decoupling, reducing unwanted vibrations.
• More stability and more precise bass reproduction, especially on floors prone to vibrations.
• A plus in sound purity and spatial imaging that is otherwise only known from much higher price ranges.

Proven tweeter with new tuning
In the tweeter range, the ZGZ-802 relies on the high-quality magnesium-aluminum dome tweeter from the ZGB-401 model.

• Outstanding detail resolution combined with a pleasantly natural sound character.
• Excellent off-axis behavior that ensures even reproduction throughout the room.
• A newly developed crossover that guarantees a precise transfer to the mid-range.

The completely new 15 cm midrange driver was specially developed for the ZGZ-802:

• Lightweight voice coil with low inductance for outstanding response.
• Carbon fiber cone for maximum rigidity, high dynamics and extremely low distortion.

Larger sound stage, impressive spatiality
By lowering the crossover frequency between the midrange and bass drivers from the previous 700 Hz to 360 Hz, the ZGZ-802 creates an exceptionally realistic spatial image:

• More depth, wider stage, more precise stereo imaging
• Particularly impressive for live recordings, acoustic ensembles and spatially complex productions
• An audible advance that literally detaches the music from the speaker.

Crossover with maximum precision
The internal circuitry has been completely retuned:

More coherence - fewer compromises
One of the biggest technical innovations is the crossover network with significantly steeper filter slopes:

• 3rd order for the midrange driver, 4th order for the tweeter
• Effective reduction of resonances in the mid-range, which are often the cause of harshness or coloration
