Since Friday Music was founded in 2003, the company has specialized in classic and progressive rock. So it is hardly surprising that the first recordings by Canned Heat, Renaissance, Richie Furay and the Guess Who were the first to be pressed in the company's catalog.
Since those days, the range of 180 gram vinyl has grown to over 300 records. And the trend is rising!
These include superstars such as Billy Joel, Deep Purple, Santana, David Lee Roth, Thin Lizzy and Al Jarreau. With the live bootleg albums by blues legend Johnny Winter, the label reached the top ten of the Billboard charts and made record history. A few years later, audiophile classics were added to the Classic Soul range. The exceptional artists who are now available on LP again include Sly and the family stone, George Benson, Patti Austin and the Spinners. The last expansion took place in 2009, when the Definitive Remaster Series with a genre-spanning range of artists such as Poison, Don McLean, The Doobie Brothers and many more were immortalized and rediscovered on 180 grams.

In addition to the original covers, the label offers its loyal fans audiophile recordings of the absolute top class.
