Ozella Music
The German music label Ozella Music
Dagobert Böhm - a musician, producer and composer - is the founder of Ozella Music, which is divided into three labels.
While the musical direction of the labels differs, the basic philosophy is the same. Individuality, inspiration and creativity are three requirements that are placed on the artist. Together with the artist, a new musical note should be created that has not been pressed into the listener's ears a thousand times before. Jazz always plays a part in the music produced, either as a direct form or as an influence.
The Ozella label focuses on musicians from the world, jazz and instrumental genres. The music of founder Dagobert Böhm is also recorded and released here.
Further recommendations of the label are Karl Seglem, Edgar Knecht and The Taal Tantra Experience. Ozella Lounge, on the other hand, offers a home to musicians from the lounge, downtempo, nu-jazz, chillout and electronica genres and Reinmar Henschke with his album "On Air" is the latest recommendation on the label page. Songways, the trio's third label, focuses on working with singers, songwriters and the blues.
The solo album by Stephan Scheuss - One Pure Soul - is worth a recommendation on the homepage. Other artists who have appeared under this label include: Roger Matura, Pete Alderton and Paul Joses. Distributors at home and abroad support Dagobert Böhm's company. They also sell the music produced to Australia, Korea and South America.
Here in Germany, Ozella offers records. Five different records are offered by the label trio at Klangheimat.
Some of the records were produced in Günter Pauler's studio at Pauler Acoustics, which has a generally good reputation in the world of music production. One work that is presented in more detail by the five is the record "Hello Troll" by the Helge Lien Trio. This album is available in a 180 g audiophile vinyl version, the tracks of which have been around since 2008.
Klangheimat predicts a great future for the Helge Lien Trio and intellectual, high-quality music. Ozella Music is convincing in its guiding principles of independent, non-commercial music, with individuality and the Helge Lien Trio in particular can be said to have a very eccentric sound. Ozella Music remains true to itself.
