Rammstein meets clearaudio
A turntable like a stage set – built in Erlangen, limited to 1,000 units per colour worldwide.
With the clearaudio Artist Series Rammstein Edition, the Franconian analogue specialist combines the uncompromising aesthetics of Germany’s most successful musical export with proven turntable engineering. Solid block construction, a platter that glows from within and the illuminated band lettering on the front make the Rammstein turntable a true statement piece – for fans of the band as well as for vinyl lovers with an eye for exceptional design.
Two German greats, one shared stage
Since 1978, clearaudio has been building turntables, tonearms and cartridges in Erlangen – as a family-run business that remains committed to manufacturing in Germany to this day. Rammstein, founded in Berlin in 1994, took the Neue Deutsche Härte movement into stadiums around the world and is renowned for monumental stage shows of steel, light and fire.
It is precisely this visual language that the Rammstein Edition takes up: not a playful piece of merchandise, but a serious turntable whose design recalls industrial architecture and stage engineering. The edition was created under an official licence with the band – the first units were offered through the official Rammstein fan shop.
At its presentation at High End in Vienna, the turntable drew every eye in the room. Demand has been enormous ever since – and because clearaudio will not produce any more once 1,000 units per colour have been made, this edition is set to become a sought-after collector’s item very soon.
Solid block, metallic sheen, red or white light
The body, made of MDF with a metallic lacquer finish, is designed as a solid block – a construction that not only has real visual presence but also gives the turntable mass and calm. MDF is a proven material in turntable building because it damps resonances effectively and can be machined with precision.
The real stage moment comes from the integrated LED lighting: a ring of light beneath the satin-finished, translucent platter makes it glow from within, while the Rammstein lettering on the front shines like an illuminated stage sign. Depending on the version, both light up in Rammstein red or cool white.
The LEDs are continuously dimmable – from a subtle glow for evening listening to the full show.
Beneath the show: proven clearaudio analogue engineering
As spectacular as it looks, the foundation is just as solid: technically, the Rammstein Edition is based on the clearaudio concept platform. The concept family has been one of the company’s most popular turntables for years, because it combines audiophile quality “Made in Germany” with straightforward handling – a turntable for listening to music, not for tinkering.
Playback is handled by the clearaudio T1 tonearm and an MM cartridge branded especially for this edition. Moving-magnet cartridges deliver a comparatively high output voltage and work with almost any phono input – whether in an integrated amplifier or a separate phono preamp. The turntable therefore integrates directly into existing systems. You select the speed conveniently with a rotary switch on the plinth – 33⅓ rpm for LPs and 45 rpm for singles.
1,000 units per colour – and not one more
clearaudio strictly limits the Rammstein Edition to 1,000 units per version. No further production run is planned. Deliveries to specialist retailers begin from mid to late November 2026 and are made in the order in which orders are received.
The packaging is part of the edition, too: every turntable is delivered in a reusable wooden crate from the Bavarian Forest – which can then be used as a record crate for your favourite albums.

Dust cover and felt mat in Rammstein design
The acrylic dust cover and felt mat are not included, but both are available separately in matching Rammstein design. We particularly recommend the dust cover: it reliably protects tonearm, stylus and platter from dust – the most common cause of crackle and premature stylus wear.
