Tube Box S2 - Phono amplifier tube stage - black - Pro-Ject

• Tube Box S2 - Phono amplifier tube stage - black - Pro-Ject

The Pro-Ject Tube Box S2 is an outstanding tube phono preamplifier with a discrete circuit design in the signal path. It is the ideal solution if your existing amplifier does not offer a connection for a turntable or if the built-in phono preamplifier does not meet the high quality demands of an audiophile. Thanks to its ability to be connected to a high level input of the amplifier, it opens up new worlds of sound.
The sound quality of the Tube Box S2 is optimized by carefully selected components such as polystyrene capacitors. This gives you a unique sound experience with the finest detail resolution. The preamplifier offers a wide range of settings to adjust the termination capacitance to the requirements of your MM, moving iron or high-output MC cartridge. Additionally, you can adjust the terminating resistor for low-output MC cartridges. The gain can be fine-tuned in six steps, and the settings are independent of the operating mode (MM or MC).

A special feature of the Tube Box S2 is the permanent memory, which permanently stores the gain settings. Even if the unit is disconnected from the mains, your individual settings are retained. So you can seamlessly immerse yourself in your favorite sound environment at any time.
The two ECC83 tubes, also known internationally as 12AX7, protrude elegantly from the Tube Box S2's housing. In addition to their functional role in better heat dissipation, they also contribute to an aesthetically pleasing appearance. These high-quality dual triodes are based on a proven standard that has been produced hundreds of thousands of times. So you can be sure to get a reliable and high quality tube supply.

With the Pro-Ject Tube Box S2, you get an exceptional tube phono preamp that takes your vinyl playback to a new level. Its precisely adjustable parameters, high-quality components and charming tube sound make it an excellent choice for discerning music lovers who want to get the most out of their records.
