When will my order arrive?

Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

2	Immediate partial shipment if the wait is longer If we see right away that an item will take longer, we send you the available items straight away as a partial shipment.

Pro-Ject Xtension 9 Evolution SuperPack - Turntable - mahogany

The little brother of the Xtension 12 Evolution guarantees superlative vinyl performance with compact dimensions.

Turntable and cartridge at a discounted package price. Mounted cartridge low-output MC cartridge Ortofon MC Quintet Black S.

The Xtension 9 Evolution is perfect for those who love the sound quality of the Xtension 12 Evolution, but are looking for a unit with rack-ready widths of 46.5cm. All our experience from more than 20 years of turntable building is reflected here. The chassis of the Xtension 9 Evolution is made of metal granule filled MDF, which allows high mass and low resonance. Magnetic field feet ensure optimal decoupling of the 18kg Xtension 9 Evolution, which represents a perfect symbiosis of the principles of mass drive and subchassis. The turntable, which weighs close to six kilograms, is immobilized by a ring made of TPE*. An inverted, magnetically supported platter bearing with ceramic running surfaces ensures rumble values close to the measuring limit. Two repulsive neodymium magnets significantly reduce the weight load of the platter on the bearing. This significantly improves the smooth running of the bearing. A record puck improves the contact of the record to the platter.

The medium-weight tonearm is ideally suited for MM and for MC cartridges. The conical tonearm tube and the headshell are made of one piece of carbon fiber, thus have a high rigidity and low resonance. ABEC 7 quality ball bearings allow the arm tube to move with almost no mechanical escapement. The stylus can thus follow the record groove unimpeded.

The various versions of the Pro-Ject Xtension Evolution differ in their features and in the size of the chassis. The Pro-Ject Xtension 9 Evolution model is also available as a SuperPack. The SuperPack differs from the standard units by having a factory-mounted cartridge. The number in the model name indicates the length of the installed tonearm. Evolution tonearms from Pro-Ject Audio in lengths of 9, 10 and 12 inches are used. The Pro-Ject Xtension Ortofon RS-309D is factory-equipped with a 12-inch tonearm from Ortofon.

Exquisite veneers in olive, mahogany, walnut, rosewood, eucalyptus, and walnut root (surcharge), as well as a variety of high-gloss finishes, make this player a feast for the eyes.

Drive

Chassis in piano lacquer black, white and red, veneered and high gloss lacquered in mahogany, olive and walnut root wood (surcharge) or veneered and satin lacquered in walnut, eucalyptus, rosewood and walnut root wood (surcharge)
Electronic speed selection between 33 and 45 rpm
The chassis filled with metal granules made of compressed wood fibers stands on three magnetic field feet
The resonance-optimized turntable is a sandwich construction of a polished aluminum platter damped with TPE, a flat-ground support made of vinyl record material and a record puck
The inverted, magnetically assisted platter bearing consists of an upright stainless steel axle with a ceramic ball on which a bushing with a ceramic bearing base rotates
Integrated motor control (sine wave generator)
Outsourced power supply to protect against mechanical and electromagnetic interference
A transparent, hinged plexiglass dust cover is included
Pro-Ject 9cc Evolution tonearm

Straight 9-inch tonearm

Supplied with assembled and adjusted Ortofon MC Quintet Black S low-output MC cartridge
Counterweights for cartridges weighing 5 to 7.5g, 7 to 10g, 9 to 11g and 10 to 14g included. Another counterweight for cartridges weighing 15 to 22g is available as an optional accessory.
The conical shaped tonearm tube and the headshell are made of one piece of carbon fiber
The tonearm tube can be twisted after loosening a screw. This allows horizontal (azimuth) adjustment of the cartridge
The tonearm base offers an adjustment of the vertical pickup angle (VTA)
Inverted tonearm bearing with ABEC 7 quality ball bearings
A 5-pin tonearm standard socket makes it possible to connect individual phono cables
A tonearm cable Connect it / 5P-CC (unbalanced cable) or a Connect it / 5P-XLR-CC (balanced cable) in length 123cm is included
