All-in-One Music System · Hi-Res Streaming
Some devices you simply operate — others you live with. The Ruark R410 clearly belongs to the latter. As the first model in the new 100 Series, and after three years of development, it opens a new chapter for the British audio specialist: an integrated music system that brings hi-res streaming, radio, TV sound and your turntable together in a single, beautifully crafted unit. No stack of components, no tangle of cables — just music that fills the room with warmth, richness and genuine stereo imaging.
The design is a modern interpretation of the seventies, with perfect proportions and great attention to detail. The cabinet and front grille are painstakingly handcrafted from sustainable woods, complemented by precision-moulded components and real glass. Finished in walnut, black or matt grey, the R410 suits any interior — and noticeably enhances it.
Hi-Res Streaming
AirPlay, Chromecast, Spotify, Tidal and Qobuz Connect — up to 32-bit / 384 kHz
Turntable-Ready
RIAA phono input for MM cartridges — connect your turntable directly
TV Sound via HDMI eARC
Turns the R410 into a powerful sound partner for your TV
Behind the handcrafted grille sits a genuine two-way stereo system: two 20 mm silk dome tweeters deliver fine, silky highs without harshness, while two 100 mm long-throw NS+ mid/bass drivers handle vocals and bass. The long excursion of the cones moves a large volume of air in a compact space — the basis for a bass foundation you would hardly expect from a unit of this size.
The four drivers are powered by a fully active 120 W RMS Class D amplifier. The dual bass reflex cabinet gives each channel its own tuned volume, lending the low end definition and depth without boom. The result is the signature Ruark sound: a rich, warm tonality, natural vocals, a clearly layered stereo stage — and a voicing that never becomes fatiguing, even over hours of listening.
At the heart of the R410 is a powerful processor that handles music files and streams in hi-res quality up to 32-bit / 384 kHz. Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Apple AirPlay and Chromecast built-in are all integrated — so the R410 plays directly from virtually any music app and any smartphone, whether iPhone or Android. As a UPnP-compatible player, it also accesses music libraries on your home network, such as a NAS.
Radio lovers can enjoy DAB, DAB+, FM and internet radio, while spontaneous playback works in high quality via Bluetooth with aptX HD. For vinyl, an RIAA phono input for MM cartridges is on board — connect a turntable directly, without a separate preamp. Via HDMI eARC, the R410 takes TV sound to a whole new level, and the TOSLINK digital input (24-bit / 192 kHz) accommodates a games console, CD player or older TV. To keep enjoying your CD collection, simply add the optional external CD drive.
Included in the box is the RotoDial — Ruark’s signature rotary push controller, here as a rechargeable Bluetooth remote. Volume, source selection and navigation literally rest in one hand, with a tactile feel that makes any button remote seem dated. Alternatively, the R410 can be controlled conveniently via smartphone app.
Every command is processed instantly and shown on the new high-resolution 4-inch TFT colour display. A thoughtful detail: the display is in portrait orientation — just as we are used to seeing music services on our smartphones. Cover art, track titles and menus therefore feel familiar and are intuitive to read.
Ruark Audio & Positioning
Ruark Audio was founded in 1985 by brothers Brian and Alan O’Rourke in Southend-on-Sea, England, and first made its name with high-quality loudspeakers. The brand gained international recognition with the R1 table radio and the R7 music console, which proved that British sound expertise and homely design go hand in hand.
With the R410, Ruark launches the 100 Series — raising features, build quality and sound to a new level. At 56 cm wide and 13.3 cm high, it fits on any sideboard while replacing a complete hi-fi system of streamer, radio, phono stage, amplifier and loudspeakers. For anyone seeking uncompromisingly good sound without dealing with separate components, the R410 is one of the most elegant solutions on the market.
