analogis Dreher & Dreher EV - Fully automatic record player Made in Germany

The Dreher. One of the last of its kind.

Fully automatic turntables are a dying breed. Many manufacturers have long since withdrawn from this discipline - but not analogis. The **Dreher** is one of the few remaining fully automatic turntables that was developed in Germany and focuses uncompromisingly on sound quality. A device for people who really care about music.

The arm rests independently on the record, lifts off at the end of the side as if by magic, returns to its resting position - and the device switches itself off. No manual intervention, no worries about a forgotten tonearm, no risk to the needle. And if you want, you can of course also control it manually.

Technology you can hear
MDF housing with sub-chassis construction

The heart of the Dreher is its two-part housing made of high-density MDF. The carrier and sub-chassis are structurally separated from each other - the viscous-damped sub-chassis lies resiliently in the frame and stifles structure-borne sound, impact sound and resonances before they can even come close to reaching the needle. The result is a precise, deep and clean bass that is convincing even in acoustically difficult rooms.

Gimbal-mounted ULM tonearm
The ULM (Ultra Low Mass) tonearm is gimbal-mounted - one of the lowest-friction bearing designs available. Even the finest modulations in the record groove are reliably scanned and transmitted. Spatial imaging, quiet passages, fine dynamics: the tonearm leaves nothing on the record. The crank angle and overhang are precisely set at the factory.

Electronically controlled DC motor with belt drive
The high-quality DC motor is electronically controlled - good for synchronization, as analogis itself emphasizes. Synchronization fluctuations of just ±0.06 % (DIN) or 0.035 % WRMS are a value that is in the upper mid-range. The belt drive mechanically decouples the motor and platter from each other: motor vibrations are eliminated and the sound background remains quiet. The rumble-to-noise ratio of 72 dB speaks for itself.

Three speeds: 33, 45 and 78 rpm
The precision-ground platter spins at all three classic speeds at the touch of a button. From the latest longplayer to the historic 78 rpm record - the turntable plays everything.

Ortofon OM 10 - factory-adjusted and ready to play
The **Ortofon OM 10** magnet system has been tried and tested for decades and is pre-assembled and adjusted at the factory. Frequency response from 20 Hz to 22 kHz, output voltage of 4 mV, scanning capability of 70 µm - reliable values that audiophiles worldwide trust. For those who want more: the OM system can be upgraded. An OM 20 or OM 30 needle insert can be exchanged without tools and takes the sound quality to a new level.

Dreher or Dreher EV - which version is right for you?

Dreher (art. no. 6217) - with PHONO output
The purist version for anyone who already has an amplifier with a phono input or a separate phono preamplifier. If you want to choose your equalizer deliberately - for an upgrade to a high-quality device such as the analogis easy Phono, for example - go for the PHONO version. It gives the user full control over the signal chain.

Dreher EV (art. no. 6219) - with LINE output and integrated phono preamplifier
The convenient version for anyone who wants to get started straight away. The integrated PHONO preamplifier outputs a LINE signal - can be connected directly to any amplifier, receiver or active speakers. No additional device necessary, no compromise on sound. The ideal introduction to the world of vinyl.

Listen to vinyl. Do not consume.
There is a reason why vinyl records have not died out - and it has nothing to do with nostalgia. Vinyl sounds different. Warmer, more organic, more alive. Anyone who has ever engaged in the ritual of playing records understands: It's not just playing, it's an experience.
The analogis Dreher was developed for precisely these people. Not for technology collectors, but for music lovers who don't want to compromise on sound or comfort. Solidly constructed, well thought-out in terms of sound, easy to service - and with decades of phono expertise from analogis behind it.
