A record sleeve is more than packaging — it is the visual face of an album, often a work of art in its own right. While the record itself can be well protected with inner sleeves and careful handling, the cover remains exposed every single day: susceptible to dust, fingerprints, and the gradual wear of being pulled in and out of the shelf. Polypropylene (PP) is the preferred material for premium record outer sleeves — and for good reason. Compared to conventional polyethylene (PE), PP is inherently clearer, stiffer, and far less prone to the milky appearance that characterises cheaper film options. Analogis uses a particularly high-transparency PP compound that reveals cover artwork in full detail — typography, gradients and fine print remain sharply visible through the film, as if no sleeve were present at all.

At 65 microns, the protect-it sleeve hits a well-chosen sweet spot: thick enough to provide genuine protection and structural support with every shelf pull, yet thin enough to leave your available shelf space essentially unaffected.
