Turntable · Limited Edition
A turntable like a stage set: with the clearaudio Artist Series Rammstein Edition, the Erlangen-based analogue specialist brings the uncompromising aesthetics of Germany’s most successful musical export into your living room. Solid block construction, a platter that glows from within and the illuminated Rammstein lettering on the front – in bold Rammstein red or cool white, depending on the version – make this turntable a statement piece for fans of the band as well as for vinyl lovers with an eye for exceptional design.
Beneath the show lies proven engineering: the clearaudio concept platform, the T1 tonearm and an MM cartridge branded especially for this edition. Created under an official licence with the band, the edition is strictly limited to 1,000 units per colour worldwide – a further production run is ruled out.

concept platform, T1 tonearm and MM cartridge – Made in Germany
The body, made of MDF with a metallic lacquer finish, is designed as a solid block. This gives the turntable not only real presence in the room but also mass and calm: MDF is a proven material in turntable building because it damps resonances effectively and can be machined with precision. The design language deliberately recalls industrial architecture and stage engineering – exactly the visual world Rammstein is famous for worldwide with its shows of steel, light and fire.
The real stage moment comes from the integrated LED lighting: a ring of light beneath the satin-finished, translucent platter makes it glow from within, while the Rammstein lettering on the front shines like an illuminated sign. Depending on the version, both light up in bold Rammstein red or cool white. The LEDs are continuously dimmable – from a subtle glow for evening listening to the full show.
Technically, the Rammstein Edition is based on the clearaudio concept platform. For years, the concept family has been one of the most popular turntables from the Erlangen family business, which has been building turntables, tonearms and cartridges in Germany since 1978. The recipe for its success: audiophile quality “Made in Germany” combined with straightforward handling – a turntable for listening to music, not for tinkering.
Playback is handled by the clearaudio T1 tonearm and an MM cartridge branded especially for this edition with the Rammstein logo. Moving-magnet cartridges deliver a comparatively high output voltage and work with almost any phono input – whether in an integrated amplifier, a receiver or a separate phono preamp. You select the speed conveniently with a rotary switch on the plinth: 33⅓ rpm for LPs, 45 rpm for singles and maxi singles.
Limited edition & contents
clearaudio strictly limits the Rammstein Edition to 1,000 units per colour and will not produce any more afterwards. At its presentation at High End in Vienna, the turntable drew every eye in the room, and demand is correspondingly high. Deliveries begin from mid to late November 2026; clearaudio allocates units in the order in which orders are received.
The packaging is part of the edition, too: every turntable comes in a reusable wooden crate from the Bavarian Forest, which can then be used as a record crate for your favourite albums.
The acrylic dust cover and felt mat are not included, but are available separately in matching Rammstein design: the dust cover (AC184) and the felt mat in red (AC185/RED) or white (AC185/WH), each with the band logo. We strongly recommend the dust cover – it reliably protects tonearm, stylus and platter from dust, the most common cause of crackle and premature stylus wear.
