Degree of musical reality

The degree of musical reality describes how close a reproduction comes to the musical event. We do not evaluate technology, but the ability of a system to make space, timbre and dynamics credibly tangible. The higher the degree, the more the system disappears - and the more the music remains.Degrees of reality at a glance

Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

Several items, not all in stock? Here’s how we ship

1	Shipped together As a rule, we first reorder missing items so we can send your order in one parcel wherever possible.

2	Immediate partial shipment if the wait is longer If we see right away that an item will take longer, we send you the available items straight away as a partial shipment.

3	Automatic check every 14 days Every 14 days, our system automatically checks whether a further partial shipment can be sent on its way.

Monocle XL VariStand - Speaker cable - WBT 661 Ag - WBT 610 Ag - Kimber Kable

The Monocle-XL is a highly developed loudspeaker cable based on a precisely designed 24-core braided structure. It uses both TC and VS conductors, which are specifically arranged around the specially developed X38R stabilizing core. This combination unites the sonic strengths of both conductor technologies and at the same time enables a significant reduction in noise, resulting in particularly clean and unadulterated signal transmission.
The XL version was specifically designed for more demanding applications. It is ideal for longer cable runs or systems with complex electrical loads where conventional cables can reach their limits. The extended braiding geometry optimizes both mechanical and electrical attenuation. This contributes significantly to minimizing resonances and unwanted interference.
In terms of sound, this results in significantly increased dynamics across the entire frequency spectrum. Low frequencies gain control and substance, while high frequencies are reproduced with increased clarity and detail. Spatial imaging also benefits considerably: the result is a spacious, open sound stage with precise placement of individual sound sources and clear reproduction of even complex musical passages.
With the speaker cables from the Summit series - and the Monocle-XL in particular - every instrument unfolds its full potential. The finest nuances become audible and the overall sound image gains airiness, structure and authenticity.
