Pro-Ject Audio Systems - Europe's leading turntable manufacturer
The Pro-Ject brand has redefined the analog hi-fi experience - worldwide. At a time when vinyl was almost forgotten, Pro-Ject consistently backed the black gold - with turntables that are affordable, durable and sonically impressive.
From vinyl defender to world market leader
When Heinz Lichtenegger founded Pro-Ject Audio Systems in 1991, few believed that vinyl would make a comeback. But with a clear focus on analog musicality, simple operation and modular concepts, Pro-Ject set standards - and developed into the largest turntable manufacturer in Europe.
Analog technology with an eye for detail
Every Pro-Ject turntable is made by hand in Europe - not in the Far East. Instead of plastic, the company uses MDF, aluminum, carbon and acrylic. The aim: to minimize sound losses due to resonances, motor vibrations or electronic interference.
- precise belt drives with electronic speed control
- Quiet, bearing-optimized platter bearings
- Tonearms made of carbon, aluminum or hybrid materials
- compatible with almost all common cartridges
Pro-Ject stands for system thinking - Box Design Series
With the Box Design series, Pro-Ject not only offers turntables, but also a complete hi-fi ecosystem: amplifiers, DACs, streamers, power supplies, mains filters, headphone amplifiers - all in a practical, compact format and ideally matched to each other.
The concept: modular hi-fi chains that grow with you - from entry-level setups to high-end systems.
Design meets sound: uncompromisingly well thought out
- Reduced, functional design without frills
- Choice of colors from classic black to high-gloss red or walnut veneer
- Each model is also a visual statement for conscious listening
