Elvis - limited edition manual record player - Pro-Ject

• Elvis - limited edition manual record player - Pro-Ject

You light up my morning - with a burning passion for vinyl.
This exclusive special edition for Elvis Presley's 90th birthday is based on our multi-award-winning, audiophile record player T2. The precisely manufactured, CNC-milled plinth is stylishly presented with a glowing Elvis logo made of dimmable LEDs. The 1.7 kg glass platter ensures vibration-free operation - and eliminates the loss of sound quality that occurs with plastic or lightweight metal platter solutions. Specially developed feet also effectively decouple the player from vibrations from the surroundings - ideal for demanding hi-fi setups.

Drive & speed control
The drive is based on a high-quality belt system powered by an electronically controlled AC motor - in contrast to many competitor models, which often rely on simple, unregulated DC motors. The result: a precise, stable speed without audible fluctuations.
The specially developed sub-platter made of ABS and glass fiber rests on a high-precision main bearing with a hardened steel axle and a brass bushing - manufactured with a tolerance of just 0.001 mm. The electronic switching between 33 and 45 rpm also enables a quick and convenient change of playback speed.

The tonearm
The Elvis turntable is equipped with a one-piece, straight 9-inch tonearm made of aluminum. The integrated, low-friction bearing ensures maximum precision during tracking. The permanently integrated headshell prevents additional resonances - a clear advantage over screwed or glued versions.
The system is rounded off by a finely adjustable, spring-based anti-skating mechanism, which ensures that the pickup can develop its full sonic potential.

Accessories included

A super-shielded, semi-balanced, low-capacity phono cable specially developed by Pro-Ject is included - not a standard RCA cable. An acrylic dust cover is also included to keep your turntable dust-free when you're not playing records. You will also find a felt mat in the box, which is placed on the turntable to provide optimum protection for your records during playback.
