Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

2	Immediate partial shipment if the wait is longer If we see right away that an item will take longer, we send you the available items straight away as a partial shipment.

Head Box RS - Project

Headphone amplifier with tube input and single-ended Class-A output stage.

With the Head Box - series the Austrian manufacturer Pro-Ject offers headphone amplifiers on the market. The importance of headphone amplifiers is unfortunately still largely underestimated today. Relatively widespread is the view that such devices are only relevant for professionals in the DJ field. At the same time, however, it should be noted that the end consumer relies on high-quality headphones. These are connected to the amplifier or receiver, although a large number of these amplifiers and receivers are unfortunately overwhelmed with the high-quality headphones, at least they do not achieve what a headphone amplifier has to offer in terms of quality. Pro-Ject brings with the Head Box S, the Head Box S USB, the Head Box DS and the Head Box RS high-quality headphone amplifier for sale. The headphone amplifier offered here with tube input and single-ended Class A output stage Head Box RS is available with brushed aluminum front in black or silver. An outsourced power supply is included. The Head Box RS is housed in a metal enclosure that protects it from electromagnetic interference and vibration.

It is further characterized as follows:

Balanced signal routing via the XLR inputs and the XLR outputs eliminates interferences
Tube input stage equipped with two E88CC voltage grid dual triodes

(6922). Filtered heater voltage for the tubes guarantees maximum noise immunity

Discrete single-ended Class-A output stage with field effect transistors (FET)
Switchable output impedance for the headphone output (5, 20, and 50 ohms) for individual sound control
Hard gold-plated XLR and RCA/ RCA jacks
Balanced and unbalanced inputs for connecting a pre/power amplifier or signal source
Balanced and unbalanced high level output to which the input signal is looped through
Green Product" - power consumption in stand-by below 1 watt
