Pro-Ject Tube Box E: High-quality phono preamplifier in a compact design with tube technology
The Pro-Ject Tube Box E combines audiophile sound quality with a compact format and innovative technology. Its completely discrete circuit design deliberately dispenses with operational amplifiers and thus enables extremely low-noise phono amplification with precise RIAA equalization. The consistently analog architecture not only ensures outstanding measurement results and musical fidelity, but also a long service life. Maintenance and repair are possible in the long term - a real quality feature.
Particularly noteworthy is the tube output with two ECC83 tubes, which can be replaced if necessary. This gives the user the option of tube rolling to customize the sound characteristics. In terms of sound, the Tube Box E impresses with a warm, full and relaxed sound that is otherwise only known from much larger and more expensive high-end tube preamps.

Tailor-made adaptation for MM and MC systems
The Tube Box E supports both MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) cartridges. The amplification can be conveniently adjusted in several stages via the front panel. Further fine adjustments, such as for the terminating resistor and capacitance, are made via DIP switches on the underside of the device. This allows the device to be precisely adapted to different pickup systems - ideal for demanding vinyl enthusiasts.
The robust, all-metal housing provides reliable protection against electromagnetic interference and microphonics. The elegantly finished aluminum front panel and high-quality controls underline the audiophile workmanship.
