Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

2	Immediate partial shipment if the wait is longer If we see right away that an item will take longer, we send you the available items straight away as a partial shipment.

HS-4 Headshell - Carbon - Yamamoto Sound Craft

For the HS-4 headshell from Yamamoto, the Japanese chose carbon as the material. Among other things, this material has proven itself in recent years in many different applications such as aerospace, professional sports and motorsport. Above all, carbon scores points due to its low density and high rigidity. As a result, the HS-4 benefits from a low weight (10.7 grams) and at the same time an increased low resonance.

Due to the aforementioned attributes, the HS-4 is a good all-rounder and is recommended for both light and heavy cartridges in combination with medium-weight tonearms. This makes it possible to keep the weight of the tonearm/headshell combination as low as possible while still benefiting from a high level of low-resonance.

To ensure the best fit for the cables, terminals of different sizes are fitted on both sides. The smaller side is mounted on the side of the headshell, the larger side on the side of the cartridge.
The headshell has a grub screw on the side, which can be loosened using the Allen key. This makes it easy to adjust the azimuth of the pickup on the headshell.

The gold-plated screws included with the headshell, as well as the finger ring, are non-magnetic and therefore have no influence on any magnetic fields of the pickup.

The HS-4 carbon headshell can also be fitted with the TY-1 titanium finger lever.
