When will my order arrive?

Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

Several items, not all in stock? Here’s how we ship

1	Shipped together As a rule, we first reorder missing items so we can send your order in one parcel wherever possible.

2	Immediate partial shipment if the wait is longer If we see right away that an item will take longer, we send you the available items straight away as a partial shipment.

3	Automatic check every 14 days Every 14 days, our system automatically checks whether a further partial shipment can be sent on its way.

THEESSINK HANS - Hard Road Blues

In 1994, Dutch blues guitarist and singer Hans Theessink recorded "Hard Road Blues" in analog form and in one go in two all-night sessions, delivering a powerful album whose vinyl and CD releases are now collector's items. Many years ago, a fire at the pressing plant destroyed the matrices, making a repress impossible. Fortunately, however, Theessink found the original master tapes in good condition in his inventory while cleaning up during the protracted COVID pandemic, which gave him the idea for this reissue.

The remastering was carried out by Christoph Stickl from CSMastering, who had already done an excellent job on Theessink's "Baby Wants To Boogie" LP from 1987. The recording, wonderfully captured at the time by sound engineer Andreas Fabianek, impresses with its organic sound, among other things; the smallest details can be felt, you can literally hear the fingers dancing on the fretboard.

Recorded and mixed at Recorder Music Studios Judendorf, Austria, by Andreas Fabianek (fall 1994).

Produced by Milica and Hans Theessink for Blue Groove.
